The Texas State University Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) program has selected the recent Chambers Bay Institute article, “Earn Trust with a Virtual Workforce”, as their newest graduate student reading.

One of leaders’ greatest challenges is dealing with a remote workforce. This article brings the reality of today’s workplace to these graduate students who must be prepared for this as they enter leadership positions within the healthcare sector.

As emerging professionals, they will be tasked to create successful organizations in the new age of healthcare. With the advances in telehealth driven by the COVID-19 pandemic, these women and men must innovate and integrate new practices, while developing health service organizations with a culture of trust.

Texas State faculty uses “Canvas”, the collaborative learning environment that connects the classroom to the web by bringing key readings such as this, that can contribute to class discussions, assignments, and further study online.

Thanks to Dr. Joe Topinka, J.D.,  Assistant Professor of Practice, School of Health Administration, for helping his MHA students to learn to become Integrator Leaders!
